Provinces don't adopt the code, it a Federal Document that covers all of Canada.
Chances of finding a copy for free are probably slim - also, 2012 is now outdated, there is a new Code book being published every three years now so 2015 will have a separate Code which means you want that because otherwise your sections will not be updated and you may be using old info. Ontario doesn't have a different code book than other provinces, it's the Canadian Electrical Code, which covers all of Canada - it's just up to your province to elect whether or not to abide by that Code which as far as I know, all provinces have. But then youll be able to look codes up as needed for referencing, and you wont have a foreman telling you to put your phone away, not believing that you are doing anything important on it. Get familiar with sections and where you might find what you are looking for. While i agree that it would be easy and convenient to ctrl+f things, i think you need to get used to looking the codes up manually first. Allow me to say that im currently an electrical student.
